Limit 1: Satan is not almighty. We see this in “Good,” said the Lord, “The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord. ” Job 1.12
God gives the devil permission to do something, so he needs God’s approval. So everything the devil wants to do Jesus knows and has to say so, first through his filter. God has a perfect will and a far greater plan than we can imagine. We clever people always ask ourselves in this situation, “Why does God allow suffering”, but that is another topic now.
