Looking for inspiration for activities to do together? Here you will find 8 suggestions on the topic “What can you do as a couple”.

Cook together

You know the old saying, “The couple that cooks together, stays together,” right? Get out themeasuring cups and cookbook or app and cook your favorite dish or one you’ve been wanting to try. If you have kids, try to wait to make dinner at least one night a month until the kids are in bed. Then cook dinner together, set the table with nice dishes and candles, and enjoy a nice, quiet dinner just the two of you.

Plan a date night (or day).

The typical date night with dinner and a movie is always great, but sometimes you need a spontaneous break from your routine. Think outside the box: brunch, karaoke, or a lazy day at the park also count as a date. Date nights don’t have to be expensive to be fun, either. Plan an inexpensive outing together without breaking the bank.

Couples massage

If your partner isn’t up for a spa day, you can also just turn on relaxing music, light candles and take turns massaging each other. If you don’t want to commit to a full body massage, you can also try a hand, foot or facial massage.

Dance

May I ask for this dance? It’s time to play your songs together, or put on your favorite playlist. Ask your (spouse) partner to dance in the kitchen or at a nearby park.

Listen to a podcast together

Snuggle up on the couch and listen to an interesting podcast together. Pick something fun to lift your spirits, or something motivational that will strengthen you both as individuals and as a couple.

Start a new hobby together

Find common ground and look for hobbies that you enjoy together. You can also each take up one of the other’s hobbies to get to know your partner’s world better.

Have a game night for two

Whether you fire up the Xbox together or sit down for a good card game, board game or puzzle, games can be a great stress reliever. When you play games with your partner, you’ll have plenty of moments to laugh and test your competitive spirit.

Start a TV Show together

Watching TV and movies together is one of the easiest activities you can do after a long day at work. But make sure you focus only on you and the series. Therefore, no posting or other cell phone activities.

This is also a great time to cuddle and get closer.
